Our holiday resort is set in a beautiful location amidst the Alps, gentle green valleys and alpine villages that are quintessentially Tyrolean. Located in the town of Lagundo (algund in German) is just a few kilometres from the health resort of Merano with its wonderful Mediterranean charm and climate, the Arcades, the Promenades, the first Museum of Tourism in South Tyrol and the renowned Botanic Gardens of Trauttmansdorf Castle. A holiday in South Tyrol is not complete without a visit to the ancient Roman sites, to the medieval fortresses, castles and bastions, to the Archaeological Museum with the mummy Ötzi in Bolzano / Bozen or to the alpine huts where farmers will show you how to make wine and cheeses. Take a stroll across the weekly market or on the famous Tappeiner Promenades with view of the roofs of Merano. Old and new, past and present, art, culture and nature create a unique mix for a different holiday.
